CECIL: SAVINGS AND CREDIT COOPERATIVE OF LOCAL INITIALS

The Local Initiatives Savings and Credit Cooperative is a cooperative company created on 24 September 2007 whose head office is in Dakar, Douala. CECIL operates as a microfinance institution under MINFI Decree No. 0000000414 of 10 July 2008. It is committed to offering its customers local financial products and services at a lower cost and adapted to their needs.

CECIL wishes to support its customers by offering products and services that can generate added value in the sectors of Agriculture, Livestock, Processing, Service Provision, Trade and Crafts.

The products and services offered are :

  • ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT :
    Savings Account, Daily Savings Account, Chequing Account.
  • FINANCING
    Business Credit, Economic Credit, School Credit, Islamic Credit, Overdrafts, Cashing and Discounting of Cheques, Invoice Discounting, Salary and Pension Transfers.
  • INVESTMENTS
    Cash notes and term deposits
  • Transfer of money within the country and abroad
